The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Nasarawo Ward, Gombe State, Alhasan Ibrahim, has dismissed as false and misleading the recent reports alleging that his office issued suspension or expulsion orders against party members. Ibrahim clarified that neither he nor the ward executive has taken any disciplinary actions involving suspension or expulsion of ADC members in the area.

In a statement released on Thursday, Ibrahim emphasized that no formal complaints of anti-party activities had been received that would warrant disciplinary measures. He described the circulating allegations as a deliberate attempt to destabilize the party and damage the reputation of the ADC’s acting National Chairman, Hon. Nafiu Bala.

“I have not issued any suspension or expulsion letter to any member in my constituency. These claims are baseless and a gross misrepresentation of facts,” Ibrahim declared. He assured party faithful that his office remains committed to fairness, transparency, and due process in all matters.

The Gombe ADC leadership called on the public to disregard the false claims and urged members to remain united and focused on strengthening the party ahead of upcoming political contests. Ibrahim stressed the importance of cohesion to ensuring the ADC’s success as preparations for the 2027 general elections intensify.

This clarification comes amidst ongoing internal struggles within the ADC, where some officials have faced disciplinary actions, but the ward chairman’s office is not among those involved in such proceedings.
