Governors under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have described the party’s upcoming November national convention as a “national rescue mission,” asserting that it represents a crucial turning point for Nigeria’s political and socio-economic future. Speaking during a strategy meeting ahead of the convention, the PDP leaders argued that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has failed to deliver on critical promises, leaving citizens to grapple with insecurity, economic hardship, and social unrest.
