A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has alleged that some politicians who lost in the last election are using bandits to unleash terror on innocent Nigerians in the northern part of the country.

Igbokwe, speaking on recent security challenges, claimed that desperate losers are sponsoring criminal elements as a way of destabilizing the government and discrediting the ruling party. He described the act as “wicked and unpatriotic,” warning that such politicians will not succeed in their plots against Nigeria’s stability.

He further stressed that the APC-led administration remains committed to protecting lives and property, adding that security agencies are working tirelessly to crush banditry and restore peace across affected regions.

Igbokwe urged Nigerians not to fall for the propaganda of those he described as “failed politicians,” insisting that the current government has the capacity to end insecurity. He also called for unity and vigilance, stressing that security is everyone’s responsibility.

The APC chieftain concluded by reaffirming that those who lost elections must accept defeat honorably instead of resorting to acts that endanger the country.
