Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the upcoming Anambra State election, has expressed strong optimism about winning the November 8, 2025 poll. Speaking at a recent party rally, Ukachukwu called on APC leaders and members across the state to unite and intensify efforts to deliver a decisive victory for the party.
Ukachukwu, who emerged the APC flagbearer after a keenly contested primary, praised the party’s grassroots structures and expressed confidence in the electoral process. “Our party is well-positioned to bring a fresh era of progress and development to Anambra,” he said. He encouraged party stalwarts to mobilize supporters, strategize effectively, and uphold electoral integrity.
Acknowledging the competitive nature of the race, with notable opponents like Governor Charles Soludo (APGA) and Dr. George Moghalu (Labour Party), Ukachukwu emphasized the need for discipline and commitment within APC ranks. “Victory is within our reach if we work as one cohesive unit,” he stated.
He also appealed for the support of youths, women, and all community leaders, emphasizing that inclusive governance and empowerment will be pillars of his administration. Ukachukwu promised to prioritize education, infrastructure, and economic diversification to transform Anambra’s future.
The APC candidate’s rallying call comes as preparations intensify across the parties for one of the most closely watched governorship elections in Nigeria’s southeast region.
