Mrs. Priscilla Chidinma Otti, wife of Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, has urged teachers across the state to dedicate themselves to identifying and nurturing the unique potentials of their pupils. Speaking at an educational forum organized for teachers, Mrs. Otti emphasized the critical role educators play in shaping the future of Abia’s children by unlocking their hidden talents and nurturing their capabilities.

She stressed that every child is a reservoir of untapped potential waiting to be discovered, and called on teachers to adopt innovative teaching techniques that go beyond rote learning to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among learners.

Mrs. Otti highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Otti administration to prioritize education, pointing to initiatives such as free basic education and school remodeling projects that have improved learning environments across the state.

She urged teachers to see education as a partnership with parents and the community, emphasizing the need for holistic care that addresses moral upbringing as well as academic excellence.

The First Lady’s advocacy reflects the state government’s commitment to building a vibrant and enlightened Abia through quality education, ensuring that no child is left behind in the quest for development.
