Veteran Nigerian Fuji musician Adewale Ayuba has broken his silence to vehemently deny circulating rumors about his alleged divorce and paternity dispute with his wife, Azuka Ego. The claims, which surfaced through a faceless blogger on social media, suggested that Ayuba discovered via a secret DNA test that one of the children he raised was not biologically his, leading to marital breakdown.
Ayuba’s management dismissed the reports as “unfounded and baseless,” stressing that the couple has been happily married for over 30 years. They labeled the rumors a deliberate smear campaign aimed at maligning the singer’s character and tarnishing his family’s reputation.
In a statement released on social media, Ayuba’s brand engineer, Ola Oluwasanmi, condemned the allegations, highlighting factual errors in the blog such as the false claim that their marriage lasted only a year. The family affirmed that the paternity of their children has never been questioned within their marriage.
The Fuji icon vowed to pursue legal action against the blogger responsible, with consultations ongoing with lawyers to exhaust all available legal remedies to safeguard his integrity and family unity.
