Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced a 20-day plan to showcase the educational achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in the FCT. Speaking at the inauguration of new engineering infrastructure in the Wuye District, Wike stated the initiative aims to clearly demonstrate to Nigerians, including critics on social media, the tangible progress made in the education sector under the current government.

Wike emphasized that this campaign is not just for political point-scoring but a genuine effort to highlight improvements in school facilities, teacher training, and learning outcomes. He pledged that during this period, there would be sustained public engagement and visible demonstrations of the administration’s commitment to advancing education.

This move forms part of broader efforts to reaffirm accountability and educate citizens about government accomplishments amid criticisms and misinformation circulating online.

Wike further stressed the importance of moving beyond dependency, declaring that development is something that must be built and sustained through visionary leadership and investment.
