The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has thrown its full support behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term in 2027. The endorsement was declared at a political gathering in Talata Mafara Local Government Area, led by former Governor Abdul’azeez Yari, now a senator representing Zamfara West.
Senator Sahabi Ya’u, representing Zamfara North, moved the motion, which Abdulmalik Zubairu, Member representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency, seconded. They praised President Tinubu’s achievements over his first term, including strides in governance, security, and economic development.
The event attracted numerous APC stalwarts — former deputy governors, lawmakers, commissioners, stakeholders, and party executives — all of whom expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and called for unity within the party.
The Zamfara APC emphasized Tinubu’s role in restoring Nigerians’ faith in political leadership and urged members to rally round to ensure his return for another four years to continue his reform agenda.
