Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, the Chief of Air Staff of the Nigerian Air Force, has pledged unwavering commitment to safeguarding Nigerian citizens amid the nation’s escalating insecurity challenges. In a recent high-level strategic meeting at the Nigerian Air Force Headquarters in Abuja, Aneke urged air component commanders to intensify precision air strikes against terrorists and criminal elements threatening peace and stability across Nigeria.
The Air Chief emphasized the importance of agility, intelligence-driven operations, and synchronized efforts involving air, land, and maritime forces to effectively counter evolving threats. “We must fly smarter and strike harder; every mission must reflect professionalism, purpose, and patriotism,” Aneke stated, underscoring the Nigerian Air Force’s dedication to innovation, training, and welfare to enhance operational effectiveness.
Reaffirming strong collaboration with sister military branches and security agencies, Aneke assured Nigerians that the Air Force remains fully committed to the government’s vision of peace and security. He stressed that the safety and confidence of Nigerian citizens are the ultimate indicators of mission success, adding, “Nigeria is counting on us, and we will not fail.”
