Ifeyinwa Okafor, popularly known as Ivatar and a former housemate on Big Brother Naija Season 10, has opened up about how viewers often misjudged her personality based on her appearance and tattoos. In a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, Ivatar explained that many fans anticipated that she would be more dramatic and controversial simply because of her tattoos and overall look.

“I am naturally a very calm person,” Ivatar said. “From the start, I made it clear that the stereotype people have about tattooed individuals doesn’t define me. I’m classy and intentional. Of course, I have a fun, crazy side, but only those I’m comfortable with will ever see that.” She also mentioned being a mother to an 18-year-old, which influences her choices and helps her avoid reckless behavior just to entertain.

Ivatar also addressed rumors of a romantic link with fellow housemate Kaybobo, dismissing them as false. She stated that a viral photo suggesting they kissed was digitally altered, clarifying they are just good friends with shared interests.

Reflecting on her relationship with Mensan, Ivatar admitted that while they shared fun moments in the house, she would have handled their friendship differently, emphasizing the importance of setting boundaries.

Her calm and composed demeanor contrasted sharply with public expectations, highlighting how outward appearances can sometimes lead to misconceptions about personality in reality TV.
