Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Omotosho Kolapo, popularly known as Kola, has been sanctioned for breaking one of the show’s key confidentiality rules by disclosing details of a private conversation held on the Red Telephone. Big Brother announced the punishment through the Head of House, Jason Jae, on Monday, September 29, 2025.
Kola had received a call from Agent X, during which he was offered a luxury manicure and pedicure session worth ₦1 million, a cost that would have been deducted from the grand prize. Despite declining the offer, Kola later shared parts of this conversation with fellow housemates, violating clear instructions not to discuss the Red Telephone contents.
As a consequence, Kola has been forbidden from speaking until further notice. He is only allowed to communicate through a writing pad provided by Big Brother, where he must write down his messages for the housemates to read aloud before responding. This alternative mode of communication must be maintained throughout conversations for the duration of the punishment.
Big Brother emphasized this measure aims to reinforce the importance of discretion and confidentiality within the house, reminding all housemates of the show’s rules.
