Big Brother Naija Season 10 finalist Kola Omotosho has addressed ongoing rumors about a romantic relationship with the show’s winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi. Despite their close bond during and after the show, Kola made it clear in a recent livestream that he cannot date or marry Imisi because he considers her like a sister.
Kola explained, “Imisi is my sister; I can’t marry my sister. Imisi is in her house, I am in my house. Please, can we make this about me?” His frustration stemmed from continued speculation fueled by fans who misinterpret their platonic chemistry as romance.
Throughout the show, Kola and Imisi insisted their relationship was one of sibling-like affection rather than romantic involvement. The duo’s occasional public appearances since the show ended led some fans to hope for a possible love story, but Kola’s statements have firmly put those rumors to rest.
Interestingly, Kola was briefly linked romantically to another housemate, Dede, during the show. However, their relationship did not progress as Dede was in a committed relationship outside the house. Post-show, Dede also clarified she would not have pursued a relationship with Kola due to compatibility issues.
Kola appears focused on his personal growth and career, distancing himself from fan-driven narratives about his love life.
