The Benue State Steering Committee of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has unanimously passed a vote of confidence in the party’s protem chairman, Rt. Hon. Terngu Tsegba. The resolution, adopted during a recent meeting, recognized Tsegba’s leadership qualities, dedication, and commitment toward building the party in Benue State.
Members of the committee praised Tsegba for his efforts in consolidating the ADC’s presence in the state, particularly following the party’s official launch in Benue and the subsequent political activities aimed at strengthening the opposition. His leadership during the formative stage has been described as inclusive and strategic, helping to shape the party’s grassroots structure.
The move to commend and endorse Tsegba reflects the growing optimism within the party ranks about its prospects in Benue, especially with the 2027 general elections on the horizon. The ADC leadership expressed confidence that under Tsegba’s stewardship, the party would make significant gains and offer a credible alternative to the dominant political parties in the state.
Tsegba, a former Speaker pro tempore of the House of Representatives, has been actively involved in rallying support and mobilizing members to advance the party’s mission of promoting good governance and democratic values in Benue.
