The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja restrains APC, INEC and the so called Rochas Okorocha led Agburu faction of APC from conducting any primaries until the determination of all issues brought before it.

It should be recalled that shortly after the completion of all the Congresses of the party in Imo State by the then Chief Oyegun led NWC of APC the outcome of the Congress was challenged in court by 5 Ward Chairmen who are members of the Rochas Okorocha Agburu surreptitiously acting for and behalf of the Governor. The Federal High Court sitting in Owerri voided the Congress a decision the Oyegun NWC appealed against. While the matter was ongoing at the Court of Appeal the Rochas Okorocha Agburu went ahead to purportedly organize another Congress a decision the Chief Hilary Eke led Exco of APC Imo State challenged before the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

In considered ruling this morning the court restrained the Oshiomole NWC, INEC and Rochas Agburu from organizing or holding any primaries pending the determination of all the issues brought before it.
