Nigerian content creator and influencer Mandy Kiss recently announced plans to attempt what she described as a “marathon sex” record by having sex with 100 men in a single day. Scheduled for October 30, 2025, in Ikorodu, Lagos, the event drew significant media attention and social media reactions.

However, the Guinness World Records (GWR) quickly intervened, stating that they do not monitor or recognize records related to sex marathons or similar categories. The official GWR statement declared, “This is not a record we monitor,” effectively rejecting any official recognition of Mandy Kiss’s attempt.

Undeterred, Mandy Kiss responded with determination, indicating that the event won’t be free to attend and confirming that the 100 men for the attempt are already secured. She emphasized that her attempt comes sincerely “from the bottom of my heart” and intends to proceed regardless of GWR’s stance.

The announcement sparked widespread reactions across social media, ranging from disbelief and amusement to skepticism about the feasibility and motivations behind the attempt. Critics pointed out that existing unofficial adult industry records far exceed the number Mandy Kiss aims for, with far higher benchmarks historically reported.

This development highlights the increasing trend of record-breaking attempts by Nigerian celebrities and influencers to gain attention, even when official sanction is lacking. It also raises conversations about the boundaries of public records and the nature of viral social media challenges.
