No fewer than six persons died, Tuesday, after a lorry laden with passengers and goats was involved in a lone accident at Agbor, Ika South LGA, Delta State.
Several goats were killed and many passengers sustained injuries.
The Nation gathered that the truck had a brake failure close to the popular Uromi junction of the Asaba- Benin dual carriage way.
It was also learnt that the lorry summersaulted and in the process flung passengers and goats into the air before screeching to a halt.
Eye witnesses said some of the passengers jumped to their death after the driver had lost control of the vehicle.
When contacted, the State Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps,(FRSC) Mr Uchechukwu Wihioka confirmed the incident.
