The All Progressives Congress (APC) remains confident of repeated electoral success for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, according to the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda. Speaking at a recent party event, Yilwatda underscored the strong support Tinubu received in the 2023 presidential election and expressed certainty that Nigerians will renew this mandate.

Prof. Yilwatda pointed to the party’s ongoing consolidation across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones and the expanding membership base as key factors boosting APC’s chances for victory in the next election cycle. “The mandate given by Nigerians to President Tinubu in 2023 clearly demonstrates the confidence and trust our people have in his leadership,” Yilwatda remarked. “We believe that come 2027, Nigerians will again re-endorse his vision for national development.”

Decrying the persistent noise from opposition parties, the APC chairman affirmed that the party’s focus remains on delivering good governance, improving the economy, and fostering peace and security in the country. He highlighted recent successes, such as legislative bye-election victories and the defection of several prominent politicians to the APC, as indicators of the party’s growing appeal.

Yilwatda called for unity within the party and urged members at all levels to mobilize grassroots support ahead of the 2027 elections. He also reiterated the APC’s commitment to inclusiveness and urged Nigerians who share the party’s progressive agenda to join its ranks.

As the ruling party prepares its strategies for the upcoming election, the APC under Prof. Yilwatda’s leadership is positioning itself as the party of continuity and reform, ready to build on the achievements of President Tinubu’s first term.
