Nigerian Afro-house singer Niniola Apata has cleared the air on circulating rumours suggesting she secretly got married. In an exclusive interview on Yanga FM Lagos, the “Maradona” hitmaker emphatically stated that she remains unmarried and is unbothered by the persistent speculation about her personal life.
Addressing the rumours, Niniola said, “I don’t care whatever anyone says about my personal life. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m old enough to say whatever I want with my full chest: I’m not married.” She dismissed claims that her recent absence from the limelight was due to a hush-hush wedding intended to shield her career from any negative impact.
Additionally, Niniola touched on why she has yet to collaborate musically with her younger sister, Teni, explaining that it is simply a matter of timing and the right circumstances rather than personal or family issues. She emphasized that music is business and family ties do not influence professional decisions.
Niniola assured her fans she remains focused on her music career and upcoming projects and thanked them for their continuous support.
