Former Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang, has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) remains the most united and organized political party in Nigeria despite internal challenges faced in recent years.
Speaking at a party gathering, Jang emphasized that the PDP has demonstrated resilience by weathering political storms that could have crippled other parties. According to him, the ability of the PDP to manage crises, resolve disputes, and still remain a strong force in Nigeria’s political landscape proves its unmatched unity.
He added that while rival parties have been battling internal divisions and leadership tussles, the PDP has continued to attract new members, build bridges across regions, and maintain a nationwide structure. Jang further urged members to put aside personal interests and work collectively toward reclaiming power in 2027, stressing that Nigerians still view the PDP as a credible alternative.
The elder statesman also reminded party stakeholders that unity, discipline, and commitment to democratic principles will determine the party’s success ahead of the next general elections.
