Senator Ned Nwoko has finally broken his silence concerning the domestic crisis with his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, attributing their marital problems to her alleged drug and alcohol abuse. In a detailed statement released on social media, Nwoko described a recent violent outburst by Regina as a “rampage” that involved assaulting three staff members and damaging property, including cars and windows, within their home.
The senator expressed deep concern over Regina’s health and safety, urging her to continue her rehabilitation program either in Nigeria, specifically Asokoro, or abroad in Jordan, where access to substances would be limited. Nwoko revealed that Regina refused to take their son, Moon, to the hospital during an emergency and even threatened a resident nurse who allegedly confronted her about her substance use.
He also accused two individuals, dubbed Sammy and Ann, of supplying drugs to Regina and instigating disorder in the household during his absence. Nwoko strongly denied charges of domestic violence against himself, pointing out that none of his other wives have ever made such accusations.
“Regina was not always like this,” he said, underscoring that her current battle with addiction is the root cause of their troubles. The senator’s candid revelation has drawn considerable public attention, offering a new perspective on the private turmoil seen in the viral videos involving the couple.
