West Ham United has officially announced the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo as the club’s new head coach, swiftly following the departure of Graham Potter. He was dismissed from Forest early this season after leading them to a historic seventh-place finish the prior season, which secured a European competition spot for the first time in three decades.
The West Ham board cited disappointing results and performances as key reasons behind the decision to part ways with Potter after eight months in charge. Potter’s tenure saw the club record just six wins in 25 games, and mounting fan unrest as the team struggled defensively and offensively.
